Course Objective

This course covers the microeconomics foundations of international trade and investment, trade and investment policies and international trade policy negotiations.

2   Explaining Reasons for Trade and Investment
3   Explaining different theoretical approaches over foreign trade by underlining their assumptions and fundamentals
4   Developing talents in understanding the gains and losses from trade, comparing different theories
5   Evaluating the theoretical framework of international trade and investment policy
6   Explaining basic knowledge for the assessment of daily economic affairs between countries
7   Discussing and evaluating topics on world trading system and globalization
