Course Objective

Giving knowledge as to both theoretic and practical about foreign trade , letting students know foreign trade transactions in Türkiye and Türkiye s actual legislation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the concepts as to foreign trade.
2   To be able to review changes in legislation for exports, imports, exchange and customs.
3   To be able to evaluate Turkish foreign trade policy in a historical perspective.
4   To be able to connect the documents for foreign trade and types of delivery.
5   To be able to analyze types of payments comparatively.
6   To be able to evaluate possible problems and risks which trading partners may encounter.
7   To be able to compare financing methods in foreign trade.
8   To be able to evaluate the whole procedure (packaging, delivery, payment, etc.) for exports and imports of a good.
