Course Objective

The aim of the probation is to provide students an opportunity of converting their theoretical information into practice and gaining experience in the tourism sector before their graduation.

1   Learn structural characteristics of tourism sector by experiencing.
2   Learn the characteristics of the sub-sectors and job structures in tourism.
3   Improve communication skills which are significantly required in tourism sector.
4   Convert the theoretical information into practice.

Students are graded by both the employer and the department probation commission in the probation report they submit at the end of their work. The student must get at least 70 points in order to be successful in the probation..

Assessment Criteria

During the internship period, the student;
1-Must have completed his/her probation in accordance with the principles of practice.
2- Must complete his/her probation at least 40 working days.
3-The probation report should be delivered completely and on the specified dates.
4-Theprobation report must be written in full.
5-The employer must submit the grade evaluation as required.
