Course Objective

The main aim of this course is to teach the students who take the course the use and maintenance of deck machinery and cargo handling equipment

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students should have information about the maintenance of the deck cranes.
2   Students should have information about hatch covers and hatch cover types.
3   Students should have information about Accomadation Ladder, Pilot Ladder.
4   Students should have knowledge of the davits, types and maintenance.
