Course Objective

Aim of this course is (1) to provide an overview of the maritime transport sector, (2) to examine key issues affecting maritime policy and (3) to give some useful information to maritime administrators who are required to understand and deal with international maritime transport issues and policies.

1   Analyze the maritime transport sector in the international context.
2   Recognize the effects of maritime policy.
3   Evaluate and discuss the current maritime policy means and tools
4   Discuss and evaluate confidently the ideas about maritime policy.
5   Evaluate the importance of policy in international maritime transport sector
