Course Objective

This course aims to teach maritime administrators how seafaring has both reflected and
influenced the major economic, cultural, military, and political developments in world
history and culture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyze the maritime history in its own perspective.
2   Recognize the effects of cultural developments to the maritime sector.
3   Evaluate and discuss the important events of maritime history.
4   Write and speak confidently about your own and others ideas.
5   Assess the impact of maritime developments on economic, political, military, and political affairs.
