Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide a general view of maritime law. The course focuses on advanced topics such vessel, master and seamen, vessel owner and operators, maritime transport contract, collision, salvage, general average and ensure them to attribute relation between application and maritime law norms.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identifing national and international norms related with maritime
2   Implementing the norms and the maritime application by analysing legal cases
3   Attributing daily international maritime problems
4   Critizing the applications regarding maritime problems
5   Interpreting the missing parts of the rules and generate to create the standard arrangement
