Course Objective

This course aims to afford a general overview of the laws that prevail in the domestic and international business environment.The primary objective is to provide students with a good understanding of the legal matters that arise in the day-to-day business practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Distinguish between different types of law
2   Be familiar with the basic procedures within the legal system
3   Understand the components of a contract, the nature of the contractual performance obligation and consequences for breach of contract.
4   Be familiar with basic commercial law concepts and understand the law of business organizations
5   Examine the legal enviroment of international business
