This subject aims to enable students to:

1) Understand and define the system concept in logistics systems.
2) Understand the applications of theory and principles of logistics information system management in logistics networks
3) Examine the IT applications in logistics management


Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To apply the techniques and concepts of information system for warehousing, distribution, transportation.
2   To identify how the logistics systems should be configured to achieve global logistics strategy.
3   To examine the methods to implement company s logistics information system.
4   To apply the skills in articulating the requirement of process and procedures relates to logistics and marketing and the total cost concept.
5   To gain the ability to have critical thinking, self-confidence, entrepreneurship and leadership.
