Course Objective

After successfully completion of this course, students will be able to 1) explain the relation between special and general education 2) write aims and behaviours 3) prepare example plans in his field 4) put in practice educational strategies in his field. 5) pick suitable methods for the subject that he will teach, 6) practice these methods 7) determine the techniques related to the subject 8) practice these techniques 9) explain how the religious concepts could be thought 10) manage them in teaching process

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They will be able to explain the relation between special and general education methods
2   They will be able to prepare example plans related to his field and practice them
3   They will be able to clarify how religious subjects could be thought and they will have the ability of managing to teach them
4   They will be able to tell the features of tools that could be used in teaching process
5   They will successfully be a good teacher and will provide the realizations of aims in the subject of education of religious culture and ethics

1 The relation between special and general education methods
2 The practice of problem solving methods in religious education (brain storm, the six-thinking hats and six-shod application techniques)
3 Case study methods and their practices in religious education
4 Drama methods and their practices in religious education
5 Concept teaching in religious education (`acrostic and `other- opposite other techniques) and example works.
6 Preparing the concept maps in religious education and practice.
7 Generalization teachings in religious education
8 Mid-term exam
9 Generalization teachings in religious education
10 Theory of multiple intelligence in religious education and practices
11 Programmed teaching models in religious education and practices
12 Programmed teaching in religious education
13 Examining the DKAB study books and the methods of book usage (3 N, M Table, understanding thesis, Yoc)
14 Applying the new methods such as aquarium, snowball, butter bread, sandwich, angulations, gossip, court, and icebreaker
15 Final exam
