Course Objective

To be able to explain the difference between general and special teaching method allows us to clarify the developments of Special Teaching Methods in Türkiye. At the end of this course, student will be able to evaluate the primary and middle school s education programme in religious culture and ethics in terms of aims and principles; education states; measurement and evaluation. They will be able to explain the important principles to write aims and behaviours in religious education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to explain the differences between general and special education and will be able to link the special education to the subject
2   They will learn general and special educational methods and techniques
3   They will be able to evaluate the primary and middle school s education programme in religious culture and ethics in terms of aims and principles; education states; measurement and evaluation.
4   Students will be able to explain the differences between general and special education and will be able to write aims and behaviours in the areas of religious education that are cognitive/sensitive and motional.
5   They will be able to put educational strategies in practice of religious education and thus, they will know the essenatial features of being a teacher and practice them.
