Course Objective

To give students sufficient information about Sarf (knowledge of words / morphology) and Nahiw (knowledge of sentence / syntax) and additionally make them to use the language orally and in reading.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Basic roots and patterns of word will be met and thought.
2   Students will get information about morphology with some roots: mucarrad, mazid, mulhaq.
3   They will be able to use Arabic dictionaries easily.
4   Knowledge of sentence/syntax : They will be expertise in using verb and noun sentences, noun and adjective phrases and different meanings of them.
5   They will overcome the Arabic language fear.

6 Pronouns in Arabic: personal pronouns and Enclitic pronouns
7 What time is it Noun sentence and verbal sentence
8 Mid-term Exam
9 Meaning properties of noun and verbal sentences
10 Life in university Verbs in Arabic
11 The terms marfu , mansub and macrur
12 Shopping, The roots: Thulaasi-mucarrad and Maziid
13 Rubaa-i mujarrad, maziid and attached verbs to them
14 `Uquud numbers, 100 s and its times.
15 Final Exam
