Course Objective

1) Purification: Understanding the importance of cleanliness in Islam and the differences between material and legal purity.
2) Ablution and Ghusl: Gaining knowledge about the obligatory acts, sunnahs, and nullifiers of ablution, as well as the requirements and method of performing ghusl.
3) Prayer: Learning about the essence, importance, and types of prayer, as well as the obligatory acts, duties, and methods of performing prayer.
4) Fasting: Comprehending the essence, importance, and types of fasting, along with the pillars and conditions of fasting.
5) Almsgiving and Charity: Acquiring detailed information about the conditions of almsgiving, the wealth subject to almsgiving, its distribution, and the fitrah charity.
6) Hajj and Umrah: Understanding the definition, essence, and conditions of hajj and umrah, as well as the pillars of ihram and the pillars of hajj.

These objectives aim to comprehensively understand and apply the fundamental principles of Islamic worship. The course content is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills regarding Islamic practices such as cleanliness, prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and pilgrimage.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend the importance of worship and its purpose and reason in Islam
2   To understand the important of cleanliness of body and clothes and environmental in Islam
3   To learn the conditions of validity of worship.
4   To analyze the methods of judgement of legal sects by disputes between madhabs
5   To resolve some problem related to worship with reference to primary source.
