Course Objective

To gain speaking and understanding ability of Practical Arabic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student gains a rich vocabulary about some necessary issues in everyday life such us human, home, school, library, bazaar, supermarket, airport, restaurants, hotels, banks, etc.
2   The student can understand majority of spoken things.
3   The student can freely express himself in Arabic.
4   The student feels self assurance in Arabic speaking.
5   The student can transfer his thoughts to others in Arabic.

Week Subject Description
1 Human; some words, phrases and sentences about physical and spiritual aspects of human.
2 At home: some words, phrases and sentences about home and life at home.
3 At school: some words, phrases and sentences about school and education.
4 At library: some phrases and sentences about library and reading books.
5 At bazaar: some phrases and sentences about bazaar, arcade and buying-selling something.
6 At Market: some phrases and sentences about buying-selling.
7 At airport: some phrases and sentences about abroad, aircraft, customs, travel, etc.
8 Mid-term Exam
9 At restaurant: some phrases and sentences about things in restaurant, foods, meals, etc.
10 At hotel: some phrases and sentences about hotel, booking a room, etc.
11 At Bank: some words, phrases and sentences about bank transactions such as currency exchange, open an account, etc.
12 Environment: some words, phrases and sentences about clean environment, pollution, industrial waste.
13 Internet: some words, phrases and sentences about definition and usage of internet, and concepts related to the positive and negative aspects of internet.
14 Health: some phrases and sentences about health, hospital, sickness, treatment, importance of the health.
