Course Objective

Learning the signs and hadiths which are source to the Sufism. Recognizing the important works of the Arabic and Ottoman Sufi texts. Reading and understanding the certain Sufism concepts and the lives of Sufi dignitaries in these works.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student recognizes the major/certain works about the Sufism concepts and their properties
2   He recognizes the major monuments and their features about the Sufism dignitaries
3   He reads and understands the signs which provide basis for Sufism.
4   He reads and understands the hadiths which provide basis for Sufism.
5   He reads and understands the important texts were written in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish about concepts of Sufism and Sufi dignitaries.
