Course Objective

To gain reading and understanding ability of contemporary Arabic language and literature texts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student recognizes the types on contemporary Arabic literature such as story, novel, poetry, theater, article, etc.
2   The student can read and understand these types of texts mentioned above.
3   The student has a knowledge about style and content of these types.
4   The student gains the ability to be able to analyze these texts.
5   The student recognizes books and articles written on Modern Arab Literature.
