Course Objective

Aims to teach about the emergence, development and types of Greek coins.

1   Describe general information on numismatics
2   Illustrate the invention of coinage and first Lydian coins
3   Identify types of coins of the Greek cities
4   Describe the subject of development and chronology of Greek coins
5   Describe the coins minted by Hellenistic Rulers with examples
