Course Objective

Aims to teach about Greek mythology and pantheon.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the meaning of mythology and religious boundaries
2   Design the works of Homer and Hesiod, main sources for Greek mythology
3   Describe the creation myth and the emergence of Greek gods
4   Describe the specific myths about mythological characters such as Prometheus and Pandora
5   Specify outline of the religious and mythological characters of Crete
6   Describe myths about Zeus, Hera and Poseidon
