Course Objective

The aim of the course is to give information about Hittite history, geography and culture.

3 Hittite fortification systems and military architecture
4 Religious architecture.
5 Hittite rituals and their effects on art, Sanctuary of Yazılıkaya.
6 Domestic architecture.

8 Pottery traditions in Central Anatolia before Hittite Kingdom.
9 Hittite pottery.
10 Plastic arts.
11 Hittite gliptic.
12 Interactions of the Hittite art between neighbour culture.
