Course Objective

This course aims to encourage the students to the study, analysis and appreciation of archaic sculpture. Examining general technique and development of sculpture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Dating statues.
2   Recognize differences between Anatolian and Greek archaic sculpture.
3   Understand development and changing of archaic sculpture.
4   Identify general features of archaic sculpture.
5   Understand come out of archaic sculpture.
6   Understand and dating figures of archaic sculpture.
7   Understand sculpting techniques and features of dating.
