Course Objective

he objective of this course is to give an education to students regarding potential
risks and safety considerations of chemical hazards, to give information on
international conventions and rules concerning chemical hygiene and chemical safety

5 International symbols and labels, warning signs

7 Compressed gases and safety rules
8 General Review for midterm
9 Origin of Materials safety data sheet (MSDS) forms, international conventions
10 Abbreviations on Material safety data sheet (MSDS) forms, understanding of information on the forms
11 Investigation of MSDS forms for toxic solids, toxic liquids and compressed gases
12 Assessment of students presentations on personal protection equipment and fire safety
13 Assessment of students presentations on risk identification and risk management regarding chemicals
14 Assessment of students presentations on MSDS forms
