This course aims the basic information technology usage skills necessary and related specialties will be given. The students will learn about personal computers and applications in hardware and software, using and administration of Microsoft Windows operating system, file management, word processing, electronic computing tables, internet, search engines

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have capability to use personal computers for personal and specific applications.
2   Have ability to create a document, presentation and a basic web site by using a computer.
3   Have ability to search any subject on the internet and following new technologies.
4   Have information about administrating Windows operating systems.
5   Having ability to make computations by constructing worksheets, graphics and tables.

3 Microsoft Word Menus and Toolbars, Writing and formatting paragraphs, Bullets and numbering, Tables, Styles, Page Layout
4 Microsoft Word Inserting/formatting figures and images, Header and footer, Table of contents, footnote, references, Templates
5 Microsoft Excel Data entry, Cell formatting, Borders and shadings
6 Microsoft Excel Formula syntax, built in functions Graphics
7 Microsoft Excel Pivot tables, data manipulation
