Course Objective

This course is designed to introduce and analyze the variety of themes ranging from identity, individual vs society and ethics to American West in selected movies from the directors of both American and world cinema.

Students are expected to analyze various themes and issues in the movies of different directors from American and world cinema by using technical terminology as well.
