Course Objective

To provide classroom teacher candidates develop their skills and knowledge about basic subjects of visual arts and using them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend differences between works of visual arts and technological products and to use it.
2   To read visual environment that owns top interest in effective learning and able to interprete it.
3   To comprehend knowledge of contemporary museum curatory in the direction of protecting cultural values and to follow developments of this.
4   To use and comprehend power of imagination with visual perception, art cooperation with other disciplines, using artscience way.
5   To comprehend and use the environment that is based on design and basis of development types of intelligence.

1 Importance of visual arts education, Western art education.
2 Art, education and culture relationship, media-communication with technologic structure.
3 Multi field art education applications (MFAE), art critique
4 Analytical critique work of art with sample( description, interpretation, judgment)
5 Samples of contemporary visual art.
6 Visual language of art, design, elements and principles.
7 Development stages of child, opinions, samples.
8 Mid-term examination
9 To analyze childrens'painting. The relationship between child and environment.
10 Applied Works and theoretical Works from artistic practice fields.
11 Examples for lines, surfaces, dots, and textures
12 Artistic pattern perspective composition
13 Artistic pattern perspective composition.
14 To tear, to stick (collage), to rip out and to corrupt (decollage), experience fields sample.
15 Final exam
