Course Objective

The aim of the course is to make class teacher candidates be able to plan, apply and evaluate music teaching course which is one of the important dimensions of contemporary education and apprending contrubutions to cognitive, affective, social and psyhco-motor developments of students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to comprehend basic components of music and curriculum.
2   Being able to select appropriate song from national and international repertoire.
3   Being able to apply music course with appropriate strategy, method and techniques by taking into consideration necessary rules and principles.
4   Being able to use by selecting educational technology and developing appropriate material, device and instruments according to objectives.
5   Being able to build up aesthetic point of view on singing, playing and creating skills.
6   Being able to use music as an aim and tool.
7   Being able to measure and evaluate musical performance.

7 Rhythmic and melodic improvisation through Orff ınstruments
