Course Objective

sing the experiences gained from the reproductions of masters, samples of compositions and color applications in the creation of his/her own paintings. Presenting the compositions and styles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing the aims and objectives of the course.
2   Knowing the basic elements of painting like composition, color, shape, light, shadow, expression etc.
3   Brainstorming for the four different painting assignments until the end of the semester
4   Getting materials, paints and canvas for the course. Preparing a canvas.
5   Making a composition from objects for a composition work. Knowing the rules and tips for it.
6   Knowing the concept of light as a way of expression and its possibilities in painting.
7   Painting a still life.
