Course Objective

Applying this approach to art subjects with criticism becomes important for individual s education in twenty first century. What for art criticism and its necessity, functions of art critics, researcher art criticism methods and criticism phases and strategies of inquiry at criticism.

1   Knowing the meaning and aim of art, necessities and needs of art and quality in art programs.
2   Knowing the well-qualified art program fields; Come into existence and development of art, Tomorrow and today of art. Main art fields.
3   Knowing the Steps of Art Criticism Process, Steps at Art Criticism Process.
4   Knowing the examples of critique stages from different art branches. Knowing Art History in Art Education and Product in Art Education.
5   Knowing the elements and Principles of Art. Elements of Plastic Arts: Color, Value, Line, Texture, Shape-Form, Space. Principle of Plastic Arts: Balance, Emphasis, Harmony, Scaling, Movement and Rhythm, Proportion.
6   Knowing Critique. Analyzing Table According to Art Elements and Principles. Analyzing Table According to Art Theory and Aesthetic Qualifications
7   Doing the table which is discovered different kind of aesthetic qualifications in a work of art by critique method, the matching table in art critique process according to art history and critique disciplines.
8   Analyzing abstract designs. Doing academic critique.
