Course Objective

Providing the students to reach a certain level and improving the musical skills of them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student plays musical scales in A flat major and related minor.
2   They know all of musical nuances and practise them.
3   They play sonata for flute and piano.
4   They practise on intonation.
5   They do duo practises.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Keeping the flute in right position.
2 Practising for brilliant tone and on etudes.
3 Playing the musical scales that were learnt in previous terms.
4 Practises on breathing,musical nuances and articulation techniques.
5 Practising on breathing,musical nuances and articulation techniques on etudes.
6 Individual practises.
7 Term Examination.
8 Practising on etudes.
9 Teaching methods of tone and intonation practises ,performing by students.
10 Practising on etudes.
11 Playing a piece for flute and piano.
12 Practising on particular passages of the piece.
13 Playing the scales that were learnt in previous terms.
14 General practising.
15 Final Exam.
