Course Objective

The purpose of this course to learn and apply basic knowledge and skills related to playing the bass.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Playing in various positions as permanent and transitional. 2   Covering the use of mixed bow to apply four strings. 3   Apply the techniques learned in the new location. 4   Apply different techniques to bow. 5   perform the appropriate level of national and international quality polyphonic works.

Main Source: From the Renaissance to the present day written for solo or accompaniment instrument, the class works written in the form appropriate to the level of each music. Supporting resources: Period of works studied composers, musical forms and styles of playing the written and visual sources. Studied the records of works created by different performers.
