Course Objective

Being able to use the guitar effectively on class.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to use the guitar effectively on music education classes.
2   Being able to know how to use the guitar methods of guitar education.
3   Being able to accompany with guitar to use some technic on which arpeggios, rithmic patterns.
4   Being able to play an to know how to teach the pieces which are elemantary and intermediate level.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Studying some etudes guitarist composers who are Carulli, Carcassi, Sor, Brouwer from the guitar history.
2 Repeting the etudes studies.
3 Finger independance on the left hand fingers.
4 Finger independance on the right hand fingers.
5 Repeting this subjects with etudes and exercices.
6 Seventh chords progressions studying on guitar.
7 To apply this subjects with etudes and pieces.
8 To apply this subjects with etudes and pieces.Midterm Exam
9 To accompany to school songs with arpeggios and rithmic patterns using some chords.
10 Studying some etudes and to know how to teach.
11 Playing some melodies on guitar different positions.
12 Practising arpeggios and ritmic exercices to be able to accompany effectively.
13 Practising some arpeggios, songs, rithm and chords progression with some groups.
14 Repeting the subjects.
15 Final exam.
