Course Objective

Teaching main piano techniques and practice methods; performance of works from piano repertoire.

5   Determines the effectiveness of the performance to detect mistakes in the playing works

1 Exercises for remembering the techniques gained in the previous term
2 Working on the pieces in Sonatine form
3 Starting to Etude exercises
4 "A minor" scale and arpeggios
5 A piece from Baroque period
6 Technical exercises for gaining agilite
7 "E Minor" scale and arpeggios + Midterm Exam
8 "E Minor" scale and arpeggios + Midterm Exam
9 Musical analysis on musical works
10 "D Minor" scale and arpeggios
11 A work choosen from Contemporary or Romantic period, repetition of all scales
12 Solving technical problems in playing Etudes
13 Working on polyphonic pieces in details
14 Controlling of whole works as regard as tempo, nuances, expression
15 Final Exam
