Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach Turkish Language and Literature teacher candidates the main artists and poetry movements in Turkish poetry of the Servet-i Fünun period and to teach the place of the poets of this period in Turkish poetry.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To analyse and explain social, political and cultural developments that play role in Servet-i Fünun
2   To explain and analyse moments in poetry and artists in Servet-i Fünun era
3   To compare, analyse and undrestand western literature development which affect Servet-i Fünun Literature
4   To assignement the position of artists in Turkish poetry and analyse their poems and to determine relation between other era artists
5   To compare them of poems, style, tendency in this era between artists
6   To practise literature theory and litarary arts on text
