Course Objective

The aim of this course is to make Turkish Language and Literature teacher candidates comprehend the grammatical features of Ottoman Turkish and the structure and spelling features of Arabic words and forms in Ottoman Turkish, and to ensure that teacher candidates have a full command of Ottoman Turkish texts by reading-writing-interpreting texts.

2   To be able to read literary texts written in Ottoman Turkish
3   To be able to write literary texts written in Ottoman Turkish
4   To be able to make sense of literary texts written in Ottoman Turkish
