Course Objective

The aim of this this course should be given to the students about the basic concepts and principles of this spiritual counseling; spirituality, morality, psychological counseling and psychotherapy . Also other aim this course is provide to introduction of spiritual counseling in the context of multicultural counseling, and grief, emotional regulation, conscious awareness, well-being,
other gambling, forgiveness, resistance, authenticity in the spiritual counseling context; spiritual measurement, spiritual counselling.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student could explain the basic concepts of spiritual counseling,
2   Student could discuss the relationship between psychology, psychotherapy and spirituality.
3   Interprets spiritually focused holistic therapy
4   Student could discuss the concept of psychotherapy in eastern and western cultures.
5   Student could analyze in the context of spiritual counseling, mourning, emotional regulation, conscious awareness, well-being, forgiveness, resistance, authenticity; spiritual measurement, concepts.
6   Student could develop ethical understanding in spiritual counseling
