Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to develop an understanding of the structure of psychological tests, their development stages, how they are used and evaluated.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Comprehend the structure and use of psychological tests.
2   Distinguishes psychological tests within the scope of psychological counseling, psychiatry and clinical psychology.
3   Explain the stages of psychological test development
4   Distinguishes various developmental/intelligence/personality tests.
5   Knows the basic statistical methods used in the evaluation of psychological tests.
6   Interprets psychological test results by adhering to ethical rules.

9 Intelligence testing; definitions of intelligence; descriptive and composite of abilities; Individual intelligence tests; group intelligence
10 Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale, Wechsler and WISC-R scales
