Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach point and line relation in plane and space, vectors in plane and space, transformation in plane, plane and properties of 3 dimensional space.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to earn point and line relation in plane.
2   To be able to learn the concepts of rotation and translation in plane geometry.
3   To be able to learn the concept of plane in space.
4   To be able to understand and plot the graphs of plane equations in space.
5   To be able to learn the concepts of analytical thinking and spatial thinking develop.

Course Contents

1 1.Plane and space vectors, vectorial types, linear independent vectors
2 2.Vector and mixed product.
3 3.Rotation, reflection and displacement on the plane.
4 4.Three Dimensional Euclidean Line and plane relations in space, direction cosines.
5 5.Cartesian coordinates in plane and space, Cylindrical and spherical coordinates.
6 6.Plane equations and drawings in space.
7 7.The distance that a point in space is a flattening.
8 8.Course overview,evaluation,Midterm examination.
9 9.Distance between two lines that are out of space
10 10.Plane Family, plane normal equation.
11 11.Angle planes.
12 12.The angle between the two planes, the vector equation of the plane.
13 13.A three-dimensional Euclidean space is a symmetry of a point with respect to a straight line, a symmetry with respect to a point of a point.
14 14.Application.
15 15.Final exam.
