Course Objective

Language as a system; elementary units, their definition and functions in language system; word classification, formation and on their syntactic functions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. The student will be able to define and explain the basic concepts of the German grammar.
2   2. The student will be able to understand the system of the German language and he/she can establish a connection between the components of the system.
3   3. The student will be able to analyse the language.
4   4. The student will be able to identify the forms within the German language and classify their functions.
5   5. The student will be able to distinguish the grammatical categories and point out examples.
