Course Objective

In this course, students are aimed to gain knowledge, skills and competence about technological change and innovation; technology leadership; technology planning and its importance; technology planning models and approaches; theory of diffusion of innovation; technology planning process; implementation and evaluation of technology plan; reasons for the integration of IT into classes; the relationship between the design of development-learning environments in IT; the bases of technology integration: the relationship between learning theories and the strategies of technology integration; models of technology integration; factors affecting the success of technology integration.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to describe the concepts of technological development, technology leadership, technology planning.
2   To be able to compare technology planning models and approaches.
3   To be able to explain the process of integration of IT into classes.
4   To be able to evaluate current developments in the IT field.
5   To be able to interpret technology integration models.
