Course Objective

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of basic concepts of open and distance learning, development of distance education in the world, the development of distance education in Turkey, learner and guidance roles in distance education, technologies used in distance education, management of distance education, open and distance learning in classroom management, massively open online courses, personalized learning environments, problems and solutions related to open and distance education , open and distance education practices in teacher education, research and evaluation in open and distance education.
