Course Objective

Students will be able to create knowledge and awareness about disasters, types of disaster, disaster management and disaster risks.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Ability to equip with basic knowledge about basic organization about disaster and disaster management
2   2. Be able to understand and interpret the basic stages of Risk and Crisis types and crisis management process
3   3. To be able to recognize the changing and strengthening role of the public administrator in risk and crisis management
4   4. Be able to develop effective strategies for managerial processes, based on the ability to demonstrate leadership skills in disaster and crisis management
5   5. Ability to gain competence in new and contemporary disaster management models in the future perspective by comparing past applications with current applications in disaster areas
