Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide basic conceptual knowledge about literary works that can be used in social studies teaching, to introduce good examples of the use of literary works in the lesson and to gain practical skills in this regard.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain basic concepts about the use of literary works in social studies teaching
2   To be able to recognize the literary works that can be used in social studies teaching
3   To be able to analyze the place of using literary works in social studies curriculum
4   To be able to evaluate good examples of using literary works use in social studies teaching
5   To be able to acquire practical skills in the use of literary works in social studies teaching
