Course Objective

From the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca (1774) until the collapse of the Ottoman Empire (1922); political developments, state organization and local government units; explanations of relations with other environmental communities and states.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the reasons for the fall of the Ottoman Empire.
2   Seek the exit from the decline of the Ottoman Empire.
3   The changing economic and political conditions in the world scale will see the effects on the Ottoman Empire.
4   The effects of the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution on the Ottoman Empire.
5   Learn the reform efforts of the Ottoman Empire to get rid of the disintegration process.
6   Learn the reasons for the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
