Course Objective

In the context of this course, it is aimed at providing students with accumulation of knowledge about basic concepts concerning physical geography etc. within the frame of habitat-human relations, etc., and for students being able to opine on economic and social problems as a social studies teacher.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Development of geography science, knowledge of basic concepts which are mentioned on physical geography.
2   Being able to explain features of habitat (natural environment).
3   Being able to explain geologic and geomorphologic features. Being able to discuss problems encountered and consequences on geologic and geomorphologic subjects.
4   Being able to explain features of climate and vegetation.
5   Being able to comprehend soil and hydrographic features.
6   Being able to evaluate reciprocal relations and processes between geologic-geomorphologic, climate, vegetation, soil and hydrographic features.
7   Being able to evaluate the impact of habitat features on human life.
