Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students the developments in history of Republic from 1950 to present and provide them to comprehend the importance of history of Republic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to arrange the basic events of history of Turkish Republic from 1950 to present cronologically
2   To be able to recognize basic people and institutions of Turkish Republic from 1950 to present
3   To be able to summarize the political, social and cultural developments of Turkish Republic from 1950 to present
4   To be able to analyze historical development the Turkey experience from 1950 to present
5   To be able to evaluate the effects of coups in the history of Turkish Republic
