Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students the developments in history of Republic from foundation to 1950 and provide them to comprehend the importance of history of Republic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to arrange the basic events of history of Turkish Republic until 1950 cronologically
2   To be able to recognize basic people and institutionsof Turkish Republic until 1950
3   To be able to summarize the political, social and cultural developments in the first 30 years of Republican History.
4   To be able to analyze historical development the Türkiye experience from foundation to 1950
5   To be able to evaluate the political mentalities in first 30 years of Republic
