Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge about the history and civilisations of Turks in Central Asia.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define the geography where the Turks have emerged.
2   To explain the prominent events in the first Turkish states chronologically.
3   To explain the relations of the first Turkish states with other states.
4   To describe social and cultural life in the first Turkish states.
