Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to give prospective physics teachers a general knowledge about types and features of vibration and waves in various systems in daily life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to distinguish between vibration and the wave motion
2   2. To be able to use of mathematical formulations that describes the motion of vibration and waves
3   3. To be able to explain the vibration and waves events observed in daily life by using the fundamental concepts and theories
4   4. To be able to comprehend under which conditions the forced oscillations occure
