Course Objective

To acquire the skills that they have gained in Special Teaching Methods-I lessons in the scope of the philosophy of the new secondary school biology program.

1   To be able to explain the vision and philosophy of the new biology teaching program.
2   To be able to comprehend the principles of teaching appropriate to the vision of the new biology teaching program.
3   To be able to design learning activities for the new biology curriculum.

Course topics according to learning outcomes will be assessed via midterm, homeworks, and final exams.

Attendence rule is 70% for the lectures and 80% for the laboratory section.
Attemps to cheat may result in disciplinary actions.
The instructor has right to make quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes may be added to midterm and final grades. Students will be informed at the beginning of the semester.
