Course Objective

Understanding the importance of energy flow through living organisms. Understanding the basic structure and function of animal systems and their relationship with life forms. Examination of animal tissues, organ and systems and comparison of reproduction, growth and development in the laboratory environment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the continuous circulation of energy in nature
2   Understand the structure and function of animal systems.
3   Explain the continuous interchange between the living organisms and the non living environment.
4   Understand that animals have evolved to possess similar structural characteristics like all other living organisms.
5   Understand how an organism maintains the internal balance and the relationship of systems with each other
