Course Objective

The aim of this course is to gain the necessary knowledge in healthy growth and development in childhood, child health promotion and to learn the proper approach to frequent diseases seen in childhood and childhood emergencies.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

In the fourth years the assessments are done at the end of each block and minimum 60 is required to be successful.
DEUMF Rules and Regulations
Article 20
a) To take the OSCE and theoretical exams, task-end progress evaluations should be 60,Mid-Term Achievement Assessment (0%) and above for the 70% of the tasks in the block. The average of the task-end progress evaluations, OSCE and written exam grades should be all 60 and above and block end grade should be minimum 60 in order to be successful from the block.

Assessment Criteria

In the forth years, the student success was evaluated on a yearly basis as an annual grade out of 100 points. The passing point of the period is determined as 60 (sixty).

The success evaluation score for 4. class is calculated based on the rates of the exams mentioned below.
